Gwen Stephens

Role: I’m Gwen Stephens, Senior Associate here at Apparatus. I focus on supporting our clients in the construction industry with precise bookkeeping, financial reporting, and job costing. My goal is to ensure accuracy, compliance, and clarity in every set of financials so business owners can confidently manage projects and make strategic decisions.

Education: Bachelor of Arts in Business 2014

Certifications: I am undergoing my CCIFP Certification as a – Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional; and am QuickBooks® Online Certified.

Background: I bring over 12 years of accounting and financial management experience, with a strong foundation in both non-profit and construction industries. Before joining Apparatus, I served multiple clients in Accounting and Management roles. Most recently, I worked as a Financial Accountant, where I managed accounting and HR functions for commercial and residential construction projects. My expertise includes job costing, payroll processing, bank reconciliations, vendor management, and team leadership. I’m proficient across multiple accounting platforms, including QuickBooks Online & Desktop, Sage Intacct, Buildertrend, BILL.com, ADP, and Gusto.

Interests: When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband, engaging in purpose-driven projects, conversing with friends, and offering expert advice as a Certified Life Coach.
