I’m Alberto Berrío, a Senior Associate with Apparatus. I have a passion for helping business owners grow — both their companies and themselves as leaders. I work side by side with contractors on financial reporting, job costing, and cash flow, and my goal is simple: give owners numbers they can trust, so they always know where each job — and the business — stands.

Background:
I bring more than 20 years of accounting, financial management, and business leadership experience. I’ve handled full-cycle accounting from start to finish — month-end close, AP and AR, payroll, job costing, financial statements, cash flow forecasting, and budgets — for construction and service businesses.

Before joining Apparatus, I led a Client Advisory Services practice serving contractor and home-service clients with monthly financial reporting, cash flow forecasting, and clean, consistent accounting systems. Before that, I spent over two decades as a business owner and financial manager, building the internal controls and financial processes that carried two service businesses through years of steady growth, and leading both office and field teams along the way. Developing people into leaders is what I’ve loved most in every role I’ve held.

I’m fully bilingual in English and Spanish, and what I enjoy most is taking the numbers and turning them into plain language and practical next steps an owner can act on.

Interests:
When I’m not working, I enjoy reading, riding my bike, and hiking. Most of all, I love spending time with my family and developing leaders, both locally and abroad.
