Tara Crawford

Role: I’m Tara Crawford, a Controller and Team Leader here at Apparatus.  I bring a wealth of experience in accounting across various industries.  In my role, I create and present monthly profit and margin reports, conduct monthly cost analyses and assist with annual audit preparations. I am known for my meticulous attention to detail and ability to multitask efficiently, ensuring accurate and insightful financial reporting for my clients.

Education: Masters of Science, Accounting (2015); Bachelors of Business Administration, Accounting (2011)

Certifications: QuickBooks® Online Certified ProAdvisor, CPA Candidate

Background: I began my career as a staff accountant about 12 years ago, handling various accounting tasks and supporting HR duties. I then moved on to an insurance company and retail company, where I honed my skills in fixed asset management and compliance. My experience expanded further in the manufacturing sector and in commercial construction.  Most recently, I have excelled as a Senior Accountant at a residential home builder, where I have been instrumental in cost analysis and accounting policy creation.

Interests: I spend most of my free time with my two children, but when I’m not with them, I love to work out, travel, and have new experiences.
